TRAVEL ON LiFE's JOURNEY AS WE ENGAGE WITH PARENTS AND FAMILIES TO HELP THEM JOIN IN THEIR CHILD'S EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES
LiFE collaborates with four organizations and 24 schools providing its parent-facing, literacy-enhancing model which empowers parents to help their children learn to read by 3rd grade
Working with parents is our signature platform. LiFE is a parent-facing organization which provides information and resources for parents to prepare their children for reading from kindergarten and beyond
LiFE has embarked on reaching parents and families at community
"POP UP 4 PARENTS" events, teaching and training parents on the benefits of reading to their child at an early age
We support parents and families by providing them with home and school libraries
We educate parents and families at prenatal and well baby health clinics about their child's brain development and brain health and how to Sing Talk And Read to their baby in LiFE's STAR program.
We train volunteers, leaders and educators to implement LiFE's parent facing, literacy enhancing model throughout New York City and in 24 schools in rural Jamaica, WI.
At Day Care centers, parents and family members attend workshops on reading to their children,
LiFE executes its mission of helping parents help their children learn to read by 3rd grade by going where needed.
"I did not know the importance of reading to my granddaughter every night until I attended the LiFE workshops. I now teach her mother what I learned and I help other parents."

"My daughter could not sit for more than 5 minutes to do school work. Now she can sit with me for 2O minutes. I learned about consistency. We practice letter sounds and putting them together to form words"

I am a new mother and did not know that I should Sing Talk And Read to my 2 year old. I started doing what I was taught and I can see improvement with my child talking. I was given books to help with my child's behavior. I learned a lot."
